Education & Training Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following: • High school diploma or equivalent AND at least one year of nursing assistant experience within the past five years OR • Completion of a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant program • State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification • State of Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing • Medical Corpsman, EMT, paramedic, or licensed medical personnel outside the U.S. Licensure/Certification • Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.
