Nurses on the unit gain hands-on experience with advanced procedures and technologies, including IV insertion and management, urinary catheterization insertion and management, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD), blood product administration, chest tube management, central line care and, enteral feeding tubes, telemetry monitoring, restraints, rectal tube management, and enemas.
