These services include mother/baby care, breast care, cancer treatment, digestive health services, cardiac care, ICU/CCU care, interventional radiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, sports medicine, weight loss surgery, diagnostic imaging, dialysis, emergency and trauma care, infusion, laboratory services, nutrition support, surgery, and respiratory therapy. The CRNA scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following: Performing and timely and accurately documenting a pre-anesthetic assessmentsand patient evaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.
