Core functions include: Patient care duties include prescription verification, clinical care for specialty patients including, but not limited to, baseline and follow-up CMR and adherence checks, supporting clinical services in conjunction with UMHS providers and clinics, and close coordination with UM Health clinics providing care to specialty patients. D. students on a variety of rotations, including medication reconciliation, direct patient care, Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs) during the second- and third years, and institutional unit-based hospital practice, Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) during the fourth year.
