Special Procedures Done on the Unit: Insertion of Chest tubes, central lines, PICCS, bedside tracheostomy, Keo tube placement, IO insertion, Codes, Massive transfusion team, back up for Hospital Cardiac Arrest Team, intubation, and post cardiac arrest cooling catheter placement, Nitric Oxide, cardiac cooling pads, and removal of femoral and radial sheaths.
