Primary responsibilities include nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention and evaluating clinical outcomes; coordination of daily work for dietetic technician(s) (DTR) assigned to area; participation in compliance, department projects, and quality performance improvement efforts; active involvement on interdisciplinary teams and committees; and contributions to the supervision of dietetic interns, and teaching assigned classes. Acts as preceptor for intern learning experiences; Evaluates intern performance, and works with Internship Coordinator/Director to address areas of intern performance that need improvement; Develops learning activities for interns assigned to unit; Teaches intern classes as assigned.
