The Women, Infants, and Children grant program (WIC) Nutritionist, screens, certifies, provides comprehensive nutrition assessments, and medium-risk nutrition counseling services to participants of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for WIC, and provides participant centered services according to federal guidelines, rules, and regulations. Assign and tailor a food package appropriate to the participant's nutritional risk(s), category, and cultural preferences and issue food benefits as set forth in the WIC Policy and Procedure Manual.
