HOUR

<p><strong>$55–$70/hr</strong></p><h2>The Opportunity</h2><p>You'll shape the next generation of nurses by teaching obstetrics and gynecology at the collegiate level. This faculty position puts you at the center of student development — from classroom instruction to hands-on clinical supervision. No prior teaching experience is required — faculty development training is provided to set you up for success.</p><h2>Your Day-to-Day</h2><ul><li>Plan and deliver instruction using adult learning principles across theory and clinical settings</li><li>Supervise and evaluate student clinical experiences, providing immediate feedback on performance</li><li>Collaborate with fellow instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams and contribute to final course evaluations</li><li>Track and submit class attendance, grades, and student records including skills check-offs</li><li>Select clinical assignments that align with student learning outcomes and facility requirements</li><li>Verify that clinical sites meet all health and safety standards</li><li>Plan and conduct orientation for new faculty in both theory and clinical instruction</li><li>Use and adopt online tools to enhance course content and interactive teaching methods</li><li>Assist with strategic planning, assessment of instructional initiatives, and program data collection</li><li>Submit required program reports and forms on time</li><li>Maintain regular availability for students through office hours, email, and advising</li><li>Participate in program-supporting committees and attend faculty meetings</li><li>Stay current with new technologies and safety regulations relevant to nursing education</li></ul><h2>What We're Looking For</h2><ul><li><strong>Valid, active Registered Nurse license</strong> issued by the State Board</li><li><strong>Master's degree in Nursing (or higher)</strong> from an accredited institution, including coursework in nursing, education, administration, OB, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry</li><li><strong>At least 4 years of direct patient care experience</strong> as a registered nurse</li><li><strong>At least 1 year of clinical experience within the last 5 years</strong> (clinical teaching counts toward direct patient care)</li><li>Clinical competency per CCR Section 1420(c)</li><li>Expertise in Pediatrics or OB-GYN</li></ul><h2>Ready to Apply?</h2><p>If you're a skilled OB-GYN or Pediatrics nurse ready to bring your clinical knowledge into the classroom and make a lasting impact on nursing education, we'd love to hear from you.
