On Hawaiis Big Island, Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute-care facility that serves Waimea and surrounding communities.

<p/><p>Serve a medically diverse patient population and join the collaborative work culture at Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital as a full-time Obstetrician/Gynecologist in Kamuela, Hawai'i.</p><p>Here, you will work at a 35-bed, rural acute-care hospital where you can grow in your role and build your own patient panel. This organization has a family-like atmosphere and prides itself on providing crucial medical services to the rural communities on Hawai'i (also known as the Big Island). Enjoy meaningful work and experience all that the beautiful town of Waimea has to offer.</p><p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time position</li><li>Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, including inpatient and outpatient care</li><li>Flexible schedule with clinic 3 days/week, 1 day/week with blocked OR time, and back-up call with CNM 1-2 days/week.</li><li>Weekend call once per month</li><li>30 to 40 deliveries per month</li><li>Clinic volume: 16 to 20 per 8 hour day depending on the mix of GYN and OB patients</li><li>Collaborative work with CNMs on L&D and clinic</li><li>Supporting APRNs in clinic</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Guaranteed salary and potential for incentives</li><li>Compensation is between $382,000 and $420,000 per year</li><li>Relocation assistance is available</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Board eligibility/board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required</li><li>NRP certified</li><li>Experience working in low-resource, rural settings is desired</li><li>2+ years of experience preferred</li><li>New graduates are welcome to apply</li></ul><p><strong>Where Youll Work</strong></p><p>On Hawaiis Big Island, Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute-care facility that serves Waimea and surrounding communities. Part of The Queens Health Systems, Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital has over 300 employees and more than a dozen physicians who serve the main hospital as well as outpatient clinics at Lucy Henriques Medical Center.
