Load and unload material from truck for landscaping, etc; Sweeping and washing down sidewalks, pavilions, shade structures, boardwalk, dune walkovers and parking areas, removing sand from pavilion areas and parking lots; Rakes the beach, clans bar-b-que pit areas and wash down picnic tables; Makes simple repairs to boardwalk cable railing, equipment and tools; Responsible for herbicide/pesticide control; Responsible for carrying out duties assigned in accordance with the Cameron County Park System Hurricane Plan, such as storing trash barrels and picnic tables and reporting for duty upon area being deemed safe to return after storm making landfall; Beach Cleaning; picking up litter from beaches and park grounds, Sweeping and shoveling sand from roadways and sidewalks; Assist the Construction crew when necessary; Performs other related duties as may be assigned. Performs general landscape duties such as grass mowing, weeding, edging, water landscaped areas, rake leaves, palm tree and plant trimming, and planting trees and plants: Landscaping maintenance, which include; emptying trash cans, trash removal, litter pick0up around park grounds, parking lot and pavilions; Responsible for restroom maintenance .
