Med Surg Oncology (2 North): The patient population includes oncology, gynecological oncology, bariatric services, medical disorders, womens services (including breast surgery), perinatal loss, post-partum readmissions and hospice patients transitioning to the end stage of life. The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
