Given the unique potential of the newly created School, which unites specializations in bilingual and community journalism, digital communication and media influence, digital humanities, health communication, interpersonal communication, languages, linguistics, literary studies, organizational communication, and translation and interpreting studies, among other areas, we seek an innovative inaugural School Director who is a leader, a scholar, a teacher, and a mentor. The new director will lead efforts to bring together the Departments of Communication and Modern Languages and Literatures, forge and implement long-term goals, help recruit students and faculty members, develop novel and robust curricula, foster faculty development and leadership, and build up donor and alumni relations.
