Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws; ability to interpret and apply applicable state and federal laws; Ability to exercise and practice a high degree of discretion and to maintain confidential information; Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential; Proven presentation skills are to include proficiency with technology and virtual training platforms; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to manage time and workload effectively, which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail; Experience with computer-based source management systems, such as Workday, preferred; Ability to work independently. Learning and Development: Develop effective training programs utilizing a variety of media sources and modify training programs as needed; Create assessment tools and evaluation processes; conduct follow-up studies on all completed training to evaluate and measure results; Create and modify training materials (visual aids and presentations), as needed; Maintain the employee-training database for in-person and online training; Coordinate and track new employee orientation; Act as a resource for assistance with Workday Learning; Conduct surveys to identify employee-training needs; Plan, organize, and order supplies for employee training programs.
