Assist in performing professional civil engineering work which includes development of 3D design models, calculations, sketches, plans, and estimates for various transportation improvement projects, including new/widened roadways, intersection improvements, bike and pedestrian facilities, railroad yard and corridor improvements, and bus infrastructure improvements. Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, planners, and scientific professionals to execute project work, assist with laying out installations, establishing reference points/elevations/grades to guide construction, calculating costs and quantities of material/equipment/labor, and ensuring project work conforms with specifications, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory and technical analyses.
