Responsibilities of this role may include, but are not limited to: Ensuring DEEP facilities and operations comply with applicable environmental, health and safety requirements; Maintaining DEEPs Continuity of Operations Plans and Learning Management System; Ensuring DEEPs records are managed in accordance with state and federal records retention requirements, and that opportunities for digitizing records for retention and production purposes are identified and effectively implemented; Ensuring DEEP meets its Executive Order No. 1 sustainability performance goals and commitments; Supporting the states geologic related needs and the agencys GIS related needs; Ensuring infrastructure capital improvement and maintenance projects are properly identified, prioritized, managed and completed in accordance with state and agency goals, polices and requirements; and. For state employees supervisory experience is interpreted at the level of a Supervising Environmental Engineer (Environmental Protection), Environmental Protection Supervising Air Pollution Control Engineer, Environmental Protection Supervising Radiation Control Physicist, Environmental Protection Supervising Civil Engineer, Supervising Environmental Analyst, Environmental Protection Supervising Forester, Environmental Protection Supervising Fisheries Biologist, Environmental Protection Supervising Wildlife Biologist, Public Utilities Supervisor of Technical Analysis or other comparable supervisory title responsible for the supervision of professional and technical support staff performing energy or environmental protection work.
