Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited course of study in engineering and ABET accredited college / university Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership" Experience with Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems Experience with oversight of budgets and financial data Experience in financial acumen Able to travel up to 25% domestically. Position Responsibilities: Lead and manage the engineering team's goals and priorities, providing direction and oversight Design and implement process plans, policies, and procedures to achieve operational goals Secure and allocate resources for engineering work, oversee supplier technical performance, and drive process improvements Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners, and direct reports Review and approve technical approaches, designs, products, and engineering processes Participate in equipment make/ buy evaluations and source selection, providing technical oversight of suppliers Coach, mentor, and motivate employees to develop skills, advance careers, and sustain high performance.
