<h5>Environmental Services Manager </h5>Manages the daily activities of all cleaning and linen staff. Maintains the hospital environment in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition. Supervises and coordinates the work activities of the Environmental Services and Linen personnel. Achieves department objectives by providing quality environmental services. Performs daily rounds, identifying quality issues/concerns and assures timely resolution. Consistently supervises work activities of staff to ensure quality on a daily basis through close observation and interaction. Prepares work assignments and schedules, in advance when appropriate, and adjusts schedules when necessary. Ensures that all work is completed within the allotted time frame on a daily basis. Performs quality inspections as directed and documents follow-up. Inventories and orders supplies, maintaining adequate levels of stock within budgetary guidelines. Assists with accurate and timely performance surveys/studies as directed. Identifies needs and assists in developing and maintaining operating budget. Prepares and provides on-going communication with staff in various settings as appropriate. Prepares and provides training for staff, as needed and annual, including competency validation. Develops and maintains documentation and other criteria as required by all regulatory agencies. Directs training sessions to ensure that each department member has been properly trained to use all products and equipment as outlined in the Policy and Procedure manuals for Environmental Services. Serves as a resource and ensures communication for staff by communicating new industry, cleaning, and operational trends. Communication methods include conducting department meetings and training sessions. Develops and maintains an organizational structure and staffing schedules. Inspects areas throughout the facility to ensure sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition of the facility. Schedules buffing/waxing as needed throughout the facility to ensure that floors are kept at their optimal shine. Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain positive employee relations. Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills in English and conversational Spanish. Must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and quality oriented with a high attention to detail. The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the development, supervision, and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services, subject to review and approval by the Director of Pharmacy. Such services are to be in accordance with evidence-based medication use processes and current practice standards. The Clinical Pharmacy Manager will collaborate with other clinical hospital departments to support a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and ensure that all activities of the department are consistent with overall hospital objectives.Essential Job Functions:
• Provides pharmaceutical care to patients, ages neonate to geriatric. Activities include, but are not limited to: drug therapy monitoring, providing drug information, patient counseling, and rounding with medical services.
• Collaborates with UHS Corporate Clinical Pharmacy Services.
• Develops educational materials and provides educational programs for the pharmacy staff and other hospital personnel.
• Directs the hospitals adverse drug reaction documentation and reporting process.
• Assists in the development and monitoring of clinical services integration.
• Assists staff members when dealing with clinically problematic patient.
• Performs all duties of a licensed registered Pharmacist as required by the Director and as identified by the ability of established department procedures, policies and laws in performing the duties.
• Coordinates the Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee and will organize the elements of implementation of all P&T-approved initiatives and formulary management.
• Assists the medical staff in selecting therapy regimens that cost-effectively meet individual patient needs.Responsibilities (continued)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• TX State Pharmacist License in good standing is required
• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) required
• PGY-1 Hospital Pharmacy Residency training or Board of Pharmacy (BPS) Certification
• Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/or license(s)
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy
• Knowledge of pharmacy standards, ethics, organizational policies, and procedures
• Ability to serve as a lead worker to subordinate personnel and the ability to assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Director
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing in English required, Spanish language skill helpful
