The Program Manager, APP will work collaboratively with the UPMC Pinnacle Chief Medical Officer, UPMC Pinnacle Chief Nursing Officer, UPMC Pinnacle hospital VPMAs, UPMC Pinnacle hospital Medical Staff Presidents, UPMC Pinnacle Administrative Leaders and the UPMC Chief Advanced Practice Officer (hereinafter referred to as Clinical and Administrative Leadership to promote the role of APPs and build a supportive work environment for them within the organization. Purpose: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs are defined as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurse Midwives, and other advanced practice groups who deliver patient care provider services and act within their professional scopes of practice.
