Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Coordinating, analyzing, and processing complex executive-level staff actions and communications between a major military command/headquarters and external defense agencies, military departments, or senior government leadership; 2) Serving as a primary or alternate Security Officer/Special Security Representative (SSR) responsible for administering physical, information, and personnel security programs, including managing access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and utilizing automated personnel security systems (e.g., DISS, Scattered Castles); and 3) Managing administrative workflows, coordinating high-level leadership visits/protocol arrangements, administering organizational databases, and overseeing government purchase card (GPC) or property accountability functions. Time-in-grade documentation: If you are applying for a higher grade and your SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you meet the one year time-in-grade requirement so you will need to provide an SF-50 which clearly demonstrates you meet the time-in-grade requirements (examples of appropriate SF-50s include Promotions, Within-grade Grade/Range Increases, and SF-50s with an effective date more than one year old).
