Verifies connectivity within the City's LAN, to the Internet, and interconnection to other agencies is working; Troubleshoots the City's Cisco VoIP phone system and voicemail system, and associated applications such as paging software and Cisco Jabber, including assisting the Administrator with managing the systems; Assists with maintaining and troubleshooting the City's video surveillance system, including installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting indoor and outdoor surveillance cameras; Works with contractors/vendors as appropriate to complete projects; Quickly diagnoses and solves problems under pressure. prepare concise and accurate reports; perform basic and complex mathematical calculations; read and interpret policies and procedures; operate computers, including performing word processing, spreadsheet and presentation functions; communicate effectively with end-users and other IT professionals, both orally and in writing; explain to group how to effectively assist in a project, and establish and maintain effective working relationships co-workers and employees from other agencies.
