Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.We are accepting applications for instructors to teach Graphic Design for the Fall 2026 semester. One section will be taught on campus and the other online. For on campus course, you must be available to Thursday mornings on campus.Required Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major study in Graphic Design. Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education shall require an Associate's degree in a subject area closely related to Biological Science.Experience: Three years of teaching experience in Graphic Design or three years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Graphic Design.Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.Compensation will be determined by the Vice President of Academic Affairs based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.The compensation rate for each level is as follows:Level 1 - $825.00 per contact hour 
Level 2 - $900.00per contact hour

The Faculty Director of Online JD and Graduate Programs provides academic oversight, operational management, and strategic coordination to ensure quality, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance of these programs.This position assumes responsibilities previously supported by a third-party vendor, including instructional coordination, faculty support processes, and program oversight. The Faculty Director works collaboratively with law school leadership, faculty, instructional designers, admissions, marketing, and student services to support enrollment, retention, student success, and compliance with ABA Standards and the law school's ABA Variance.This is a full-time faculty appointment with administrative responsibilities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversight and Faculty Governance (30%)<ul><li>Provide academic leadership for the Hybrid JD and online graduate programs.</li><li>Support faculty governance related to online instruction.</li><li>Collaborate with the Dean's Office on program strategy, curriculum planning, and sequencing.</li><li>Ensure academic rigor, consistency, and alignment with institutional policies and ABA Standards.</li><li>Maintain an active teaching load consistent with faculty workload policies.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Program Operations and Supervision (30%)<ul><li>Oversee academic and operational functions for the Hybrid JD and online graduate programs.</li><li>Supervise instructional designers and the Hybrid JD Program Coordinator.</li><li>Coordinate faculty onboarding, course development, and instructional workflows.</li><li>Assist with program budgeting and resource planning.</li><li>Serve as liaison with institutional partners regarding instructional technology, accessibility, and online operations.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Student Experience, Enrollment, and Retention (20%)<ul><li>Partner with Admissions, Marketing, Academic Success, and Student Affairs to support recruitment and onboarding.</li><li>Monitor student engagement, academic performance, and progression.</li><li>Develop and support initiatives that enhance student success and retention in hybrid and online programs.</li><li>Analyze enrollment and performance trends to inform program planning.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Compliance, Assessment, and Reporting (20%)<ul><li>Ensure compliance with ABA Standards, ABA Variance requirements, and institutional policies.</li><li>Monitor instructional delivery requirements, including modality and instructional minutes.</li><li>Support assessment processes, data tracking, and accreditation-related documentation.</li><li>Prepare reports and documentation related to program operations and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>RequirementsMinimum Acceptable Education & Experience:<ul><li>J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.</li><li>Experience teaching in legal education or graduate professional programs.</li><li>Experience with online or hybrid instruction.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in academic program leadership, coordination, or administration.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience supervising staff or managing academic program operations.</li><li>Experience with instructional design processes and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).</li><li>Experience with assessment or accreditation documentation.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership in hybrid or online legal education.</li></ul>Applicant InstructionsApplicants should be prepared to upload the following documents when applying online within the Resume/Cover Letter section of your application:<ul><li>Resume/CV</li><li>Cover Letter</li><li>Contact Information for 3 Professional References</li><li>Teaching Philosophy</li></ul>Applications that are missing any of the required items may not move forward for consideration.
