Be part of a growing online news team producing national content for Sinclair Broadcast Group's network of news sites. We’re looking for a talented and creative journalist with an ability to learn new systems and jump into a fast-paced publishing environment. Online reporting should be your passion and the ideal candidate will be a journalist able to handle tight deadlines and constantly bring new ideas to the table. You should be able to work nights and weekends when needed. DUTIES: <ul><li> </li><li>Write, select and publish news and other stories to Sinclair Broadcast Groups network of sites</li><li> </li><li>Ability to react to and post breaking news quickly and accurately is a core expectation of this position</li><li> </li><li>Daily news aggregation from around the web and editing of wire service content</li><li> </li><li>Research, report and write original stories</li><li> </li><li>Produce and edit multimedia elements for online stories</li><li> </li><li>Track trending user Generated Content and create interesting digital stories</li><li> </li><li>Manage remote and streaming feeds on our station’s websites and National Desk social media accounts</li><li> </li><li>Complete branded tasks as assigned daily</li><li> </li><li>Monitor analytics to measure story performance</li><li> </li><li>Video editing and production of reels, and other social media content </li><li> </li><li>Posting to social media outlets including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok,X, Facebook</li><li> </li><li>Newsletter production and mailing </li><li> </li><li>Ability to work all shifts including but not limited to mornings, late nights, and weekends</li><li> </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li> </li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li> </li><li>BA/BS degree or equivalent (Degree in journalism or related field strongly preferred)</li><li> </li><li>Minimum of three years of online journalism experience</li><li> </li><li>Excellent writing skills and knowledge of AP style required</li><li> </li><li>Must have a sense of urgency when confronted with short deadlines and breaking news</li><li> </li><li>Strong understanding of content usage rights management and restrictions</li><li> </li><li>Strong proficiency in editing software such as Premiere, Adobe Cloud, Capcut, etc. </li><li> </li><li>Experience with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X,and other social media platforms</li><li> </li><li>Must be self-motivating and able to work well with a diverse group of people</li><li> </li><li>Is a team player and is willing to put the teams needs first</li><li> </li><li>Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li> </li><li>Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills</li><li> </li><li>Understanding of Microsoft 360 products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Teams</li><li> </li></ul>   Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace. We work with every person, on every spectrum and are seeking skilled Therapists throughout the state of Virginia who are interested in providing teletherapy to children (age 5-12) using a teletherapy platform that we have developed to our specifications.

Well, we have that opportunity if you are licensed in the state of Virginia as an LCSW and have experience working with children in a virtual setting! **Those with clinical licenses in multiple states are encouraged to apply.**MySpectrum offers outpatient counseling and coaching to children and adults, focusing on the Autism Spectrum, Substance Abuse Spectrum, Mental Health Spectrum, and Whole Life Spectrum. We work with every person, on every spectrum and are seeking skilled Therapists throughout the state of Virginia who are interested in providing teletherapy to children (age 5-12) using a teletherapy platform that we have developed to our specifications. We are seeking Therapists who enjoy their work, like to have fun, and are passionate about offering the most creative and innovative ways to treat clients. If you are wanting to find a place where you can build an established client base from your own home or office, we look forward to hearing from you. **Instead of worrying about building your own private practice, we will do that for you.** In addition to having remote locations through teletherapy, we have a home office in North Chesterfield, VA, where you can visit and obtain in-person support.Some of the aspects of being in private practice that we will take care of for you at MySpectrum include:<ul><li>Credentialing with insurance carriers</li><li>Billing (you get paid on a bi-weekly basis regardless of if we do)</li><li>A teletherapy platform that we built, and will continue to enhance to your specifications</li><li>Marketing</li><li>Scheduling</li><li>Use of an electronic health record for documentation of sessions</li></ul>Job Summary:The Teletherapist will provide therapy through a HIPAA compliant teletherapy platform in standard 45-60 minute sessions. The average caseload for full-time Therapists will be approximately 30-35 client sessions per week. For part-time Therapists, we will work with you as you build a caseload that is manageable. We recognize that it may take time to build a solid caseload and are willing to work with you on a part-time basis until you become full-time, if that is your desire.
