This role is responsible for overseeing procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, supplier relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and on-time delivery.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and a proven ability to improve supply chain performance while reducing costs and maintaining quality standards. This role serves as the single point of accountability for all supply chain-related activities at the site, ensuring seamless integration across supply chain functions. Responsibilities include supply planning, logistics, warehouse operations, and site-related procurement activities. The role reports (solid line) to the Division Supply Chain Manager and dotted line to the Plant Manager. The Plant Supply Chain Manager is a member of the plant leadership team, as the primary liaison for supply chain matters, and contributes to achieving the plants operational and strategic goals.Integrated Planning:<ul><li>Directs the on-site integrated planning team, overseeing short-term planning execution, including production planning, MRP, DRP, and site planning master data.</li><li>Ensure alignment of planning processes with BU strategy and site operational requirements.</li><li>Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet service levels while minimizing costs.</li><li>Drive adherence to planning standards and tools as defined by the BU Integrated Planning organization.</li></ul>Logistics & Warehouse Operations:<ul><li>Oversees logistics and related operations teams for efficient goods movement, storage, and distribution.</li><li>Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse layout and material handling efficiency.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul>Procurement Activities:<ul><li>Oversees site-related procurement activities (both direct and indirect) through a dotted-line reporting structure with site procurement professionals.</li><li>Guide and support the on-site procurement team on sourcing events, vendor negotiations, and contract management for site-specific requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with Corporate and BU procurement teams to align activities with broader supply chain strategies.</li></ul>Leadership & Collaboration:<ul><li>Serve as the single point of accountability for all supply chain-related topics at the plant, providing oversight and support to the Plant Manager.</li><li>Act as the primary liaison for supply chain matters, representing the function within the plant leadership team.</li><li>Foster collaboration with cross-functional peers, including the Manufacturing, Finance, HR, Engineering, and IT, to align on shared objectives.</li><li>Develop and mentor a high-performing team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.</li></ul>Strategic Contribution:<ul><li>Contribute to the BUs supply chain strategy by implementing site-level initiatives that enhance efficiency and resilience.</li><li>Identify and execute process improvements to improve customer service, cash, and cost efficiency.</li><li>Support the plants overall operational and business objectives through effective planning and execution.</li></ul>Qualifications & CompetenciesEducation and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field (Masters preferred).</li><li>8-10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations, with a focus on planning and execution.</li><li>Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or plant environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of MRP, DRP, production planning, contract negotiations, and logistics/warehouse processes</li></ul>Skills and Competencies:<ul><li>Advanced knowledge of supply chain tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.</li></ul>Leadership Behaviors:<ul><li>Results-driven with a focus on achieving operational excellence.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.</li><li>Ability to lead and inspire teams toward continuous improvement and high performance.</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li>This position is based on-site at the manufacturing plant, with occasional travel as required.</li></ul>This position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $135,540.00 - $186,368.00 assuming full time status.
