Employees in this classification, with exception of buglers, are required to meet the following criteria, per National Guard Bureau regulation 600-25: a) Be active or retired members of the Maryland National Guard or retired. Successful candidates will be ranked as Best Qualified, Better Qualified, or Qualified and placed on the employment (eligible) list for at least one year. This list will be used by the hiring agency to select employees.
