Your primary duties will include but are not limited to: conducting individual student athlete performance nutrition and/or medical nutrition therapy consultations, documenting and updating student athlete related nutrition information, providing research supported performance nutrition education via team talks, staff presentations, etc., conducting individual nutrition related field analysis (i.e., sweat test analysis), attending and providing nutrition services at training sessions, practices, and competition, overseeing all nutrition related duties (i.e. pre, intra, post fueling setup, USG testing, menu development, coordinating catering) for home, away, post season, and spring games, conducting and/or interpreting body composition analysis, conducting cooking demonstrations, supplement review and approval, and daily oversight of football nutrition facilities and hourly staff. Background Check: This position has been designated by the department to require a background check because it requires access to children or vulnerable adults as defined by RCW 74.34, engages in law enforcement, requires security clearance, interacts with WSU students in a counseling or advising capacity, has access to personal identifying and/or financial information, unsupervised access to university buildings/property, or other business-related need.
