The Fabrication Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the fabrication facility, including personnel, production workflow, materials management, and logistics coordination. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high‑quality fabrication activities while maintaining accountability for material receipt, tracking, and coordination of shipments of assembled products to Client locations. The position requires hands‑on leadership, strong planning skills, and cross‑functional coordination with operations, quality, and project teams. Responsibilities: Shop Operations & Leadership<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Manage day‑to‑day fabrication shop operations, including personnel, workflow, and production scheduling</li><li style="text-align:justify">Supervise and lead shop employees, including hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions</li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure fabrication activities comply with OSHA requirements and company safety policies</li><li style="text-align:justify">Oversee equipment usage, maintenance, calibration, and repair coordination</li><li style="text-align:justify">Plan and prioritize work orders to meet project schedules, cost targets, and quality requirements</li><li style="text-align:justify">Collaborate with engineering and project teams to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions</li><li style="text-align:justify">Implement continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiency</li><li style="text-align:justify">Enforce cleanliness, organization, and proper material handling within the shop</li></ul>Materials, Receiving, and Logistics Oversight<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Oversee receipt of incoming materials and components, ensuring quantities, condition, and documentation are verified</li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure materials and components are properly tracked, staged, and issued throughout fabrication activities</li><li style="text-align:justify">Maintain oversight of inventory accuracy and material control processes</li><li style="text-align:justify">Identify material shortages, damages, or discrepancies and coordinate resolution</li><li style="text-align:justify">Oversee preparation, packaging, and shipment of completed assemblies and equipment</li><li style="text-align:justify">Coordinate outbound shipping logistics to Client locations, including carrier coordination and delivery schedules</li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure shipping documentation, labeling, handling instructions, and Client requirements are met</li><li style="text-align:justify">Maintain visibility into material flow and shipment status to support project commitments</li></ul>Quality & Compliance<ul><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure quality control processes are followed and non‑conformances are addressed promptly</li><li style="text-align:justify">Support QA activities, inspections, corrective actions, and audit readiness</li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensure production, material, and shipping documentation is maintained and accurate</li></ul> Required Qualifications<ul><li style="text-align:justify">High school diploma or GED required;
