Position OverviewPerform the setup and operation of machines on designated lines according to the production schedule Responsible to request people, material and tools needed to meet production schedule Able to coordinate team members as neededPerform some daily maintenance and/or repair work on equipment as needed Perform periodic quality checks and tests to ensure the best quality products are being produced Responsible for documentation and provide signature to verify compliance with all required quality specifications and procedure checks for the assigned area Ensure all safety devices are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observed Record all production performance, counts, downtime and other quality or production related information as required Communicate changes and other production information to team members Must follow all safety requirements of the position and help train team members of safety requirements Other tasks as assigned This job may be for you if you canLift up to 65 lbs. at any given time Occasional bending, crouching, kneeling, and/or sitting in tight spaces will be necessaryRequirements6+ months in a production position preferredAbility to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines Experience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.) Experience with preventative maintenance (e.g., inspecting and maintaining equipment, detecting and correcting issues before they occur, etc.)Strong computer skills are required including familiarity with Windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook Ready to Join Us?
