This is a non-exempt skilled field position responsible for performing maintenance, inspection, repair, and construction activities involving the Citys stormwater conveyance system, waterways, drainage infrastructure, pump stations, roadside swales, canals, culverts, exfiltration trenches, outfalls, and related stormwater facilities. Work involves exposure to canals, drainage systems, pump stations, construction sites, roadways with moving traffic, heavy equipment, loud noise, dust, mud, standing water, insects, wildlife, and other environmental hazards associated with stormwater maintenance activities.
