WHAT YOULL ACCOMPLISH Operate asphalt transfer machines to move and distribute hot mix asphalt from trucks to pavers efficiently and safely Monitor and control material flow to ensure consistent supply to the paving operation Adjust machine settings and conveyor speed to maintain proper asphalt placement and minimize material loss Coordinate with truck drivers, paver operators, and crew members to maintain smooth workflow Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and minor troubleshooting on transfer equipment Identify and report any mechanical issues or operational concerns to supervisors promptly Follow project plans, job specifications, and safety protocols, including traffic control and hot mix handling procedures Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, ensuring proper handling of asphalt and equipment Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
