He or she must be a team player who can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, must be physically able to perform the duties of the job (move heavy equipment/machinery, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, walk/stand, etc.), must have strong communication and customer service skills, and must be willing to work a flexible schedule and be on call, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays. He or she is responsible for all maintenance procedures and repairs and performs a variety of skilled duties in building trades, such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical work, appliance repair, boiler and HVAC repair, and building and facility remodeling/repair.
