Major Responsibilities: Produce quality materials for customers Operate, maintain and shutdown production equipment ( blender, resin dryer, 4.5 extruder, take-off tower, die, slitter, trim winder and film winder) Start up and shut down equipment including pre-start up safety interlock review Keep machine fed with resin mixture by accurately calculating formulation, adding, blending and drying the batch resin components Observe and adjust process parameters in ensure proper product specifications Record process and product information, test samples, complete order paperwork Make quality judgments about film produced Maintain equipment, including teardown and reassembly of the extruder screw and die You are part of the Strategic business entity Specialty Films - We are a global team developing specialty films solutions for a broad customer base with focus on the segments Automotive, Medical and Security. What You Offer Qualifications High school diploma or GED Must be willing to work a 12 hour shift; Positions are available on night shift (7pm-7am).Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50lbs of weight, climb stairs, lift and pull 10lbs of weight in the overhead position, work in ambient room temperature of 100 degrees, and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
