Mastery of various interventional spine procedures is a critical component, including lumbar, thoracic, and cervical epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency neurotomy, sympathetic blocks, peripheral joint and nerve injections, spinal cord stimulator trials, dorsal root ganglion stimulator trials, spinal cord stimulator implants, disc stimulation procedures, and kyphoplasty. Fellows will actively engage in monthly spine conferences and journal clubs, and will have access to a biomechanical research lab, motion analysis lab, and a clinical research infrastructure supported by a dedicated team of regulatory, contract, grant, and research coordinators.
