In inpatient rehab, you will facilitate accurate assessment scoring, support discharge planning, and help patients resume daily activities such as self-care, bed mobility, bathroom transfers, and standing grooming tasks, often providing caregiver education and ordering durable medical equipment when needed. Your responsibilities include evaluating patients’ physical and cognitive functionality, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help patients regain or improve their ability to perform daily activities.
