<h1> AP/AR Specialist</h1>Location: Drayton, SC Compensation: $50,000 - $60,0000 Employment Type: Full-time, Direct HireSystem One is seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist to join its finance team. This individual will play a vital role in overseeing both accounts payable and receivable functions while supporting broader accounting and project financial operations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in construction or a project-based industry who values accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>Accounts Payable<ul><li>Accurately process vendor invoices with proper coding and approvals</li><li>Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices</li><li>Handle weekly payment processing including checks, ACH, and wires</li><li>Monitor AP aging reports and resolve discrepancies with vendors</li><li>Collect and track lien waivers and subcontractor compliance docs (W-9s, insurance, etc.)</li></ul>Accounts Receivable<ul><li>Generate and issue customer invoices tied to project milestones</li><li>Apply incoming payments to accounts and follow up on outstanding balances</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to ensure billing accuracy</li><li>Prepare aging reports and assist with collection efforts</li></ul>General Accounting & Compliance<ul><li>Support month-end close activities, accruals, and reconciliations</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and support audit processes</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field</li><li>Minimum 3 years in AP/AR roles; construction/project accounting background preferred</li><li>Familiarity with AIA billing, lien laws, and job cost accounting</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software </li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent time management and communication skills</li></ul><h3> </h3>   #M1 Ref: #193-Eng Oakridge (Precision)
