Responsibilities:
<ul style="list-style:none"><li>1. Assists In The Inventory Control Of All Supplies Stored In Warehouse And On All Inventoried Units.</li><li>2. Performs All Tasks On Materials Management Module In The Computer.</li><li>3. Packs And Ships Equipment/Instruments For Repair Or Return. Ensures All Paperwork Is Properly Filled Out And Maintained.</li><li>4. Ensures All Supplies And Equipment Are Properly Received And Distributed To Appropriate Departments On A Timely Basis.</li><li>5. Drives A Standard Transmission Truck In Order To Deliver Supplies.</li><li>6. Meets Performance Expectations For Customer Service, Teamwork, Resource Utilization, And Staff And Self Development As Outlined In Performance Review.</li><li>7. Performs Other Duties As Assigned Or Directed To Ensure Smooth Operation Of The Department/Unit.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
EDUCATION High School Diploma Or G.E.D. Equivalency Necessary. EXPERIENCE No Prior Experience Necessary. Requirements for this position includes or may include operating a motor vehicle intrastate, with the vehicle with GVWR of 18,001 lbs or more. As such, to be in this position you must be at all times compliant with all relevant Department Of Transportation regulations. Compliance requires completion of, and provision of documentation including: Successful passing of Road Test, as directed by YNHHS, in accordance to and compliance with DOT regulation. YNHHS will provide the testing opportunity. If a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is held by applicant and current, YNHHS Road Test is not necessary. The Driver's Certification of Violation's form must continue to be completed every 12 months throughout employment. Applicant is in agreement with updating as often as required for organization to meet compliance. YNHHS will be reviewing a Motor Vehicle Report, reflecting your documented driving experience and any violations. YNHHS must be in agreement that your record reflects acceptable driving competency. LICENSURE 1. Must maintain a valid Connecticut driver's license must have acceptable driving record and pass a forklift driving evaluation. 2. Responsibilities:
<ul style="list-style:none"><li>1. Performs tasks related to the accurate and timely issuance of bulk inventory supplies in accordance with pre?determined delivery schedules in order to maintain adequate supply levels throughout the Medical Center.</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>1.1 Prepares and issues bulk supplies as selected, utilizing pre?printed bulk supply requisitions, documenting quantity issued, time order started and time order was completed as audited by supervisor.</li></ul></li><li>2. Provides accurate and timely issuance of credit for materials returned to bulk inventory.</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>2.1 Audits and inspects material prior to forwarding credit requisition to data entry as observed by supervisor.</li></ul></li><li>3. Performs various departmental related duties as assigned by Manager in order to contribute to the efficient operation of the department.</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>3.1 Verifies incoming materials, replenishes shelves in order to maintain accurate materials available for distribution, reports variances to Quality Assurance Clerk and Manager.</li></ul></li><li>4. Follows established safety procedures in the performance of all duties in order to ensure a safe environment.</li><li><ul style="list-style:none"><li>4.1 Operates material handling equipment to include propane fork truck and electric pallet truck in a safe manner as identified in initial orientation with no more than 2 non'serious violations within this evaluation period as observed by supervisor.</li></ul></li></ul>

Qualifications:
EDUCATION Graduation from high school or equivalent. EXPERIENCE Six (6) to twelve (12) months experience replenishing stock. SPECIAL SKILLS Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment. Must possess basic math skills. Knowledge of medical products desirable.
