Looking for a driven individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of our insurance offerings. The perfect candidate will focus on sales, acquiring new business clients, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring the satisfaction of our commercial customer base.Compensation:$60,000 - $100,000 yearlyResponsibilities:<ul><li/><li>Develop and execute strategies to meet the sales targets outlined in the annual producer sales plan.</li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities among current clients and specific market sectors.</li><li>Contact potential clients to provide estimates and arrange sales appointments.</li><li>Evaluate clients' insurance requirements, review existing policies, and conduct Risk Management Reviews.</li><li>Collect comprehensive underwriting data, including survey information and loss histories.</li><li>Prepare and present thorough insurance proposals outlining coverages, limits, and deductibles.</li><li>Work closely with service staff to submit applications and choose suitable markets.</li><li>Hold meetings with clients and prospects to review proposals, renewals, and address any queries.</li><li>Introduce clients to service staff for ongoing assistance and direct service-related calls accordingly.</li><li>Keep informed of any claims or service issues and assist in resolving them as needed.</li><li>Support the renewal process by checking expirations, gathering necessary data, and preparing renewal submissions.</li><li>Maintain precise production reports and actively participate in sales meetings.</li><li>Promote the agency and the insurance industry within the local community.</li><li>Stay up-to-date on industry developments by reviewing trade publications and attending carrier training sessions.</li><li>Undertake any additional tasks or projects assigned by agency management.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li/><li>The candidate must have a successful sales background, particularly in effectively closing sales deals.</li><li>Possession of an Ohio Property & Casualty license is mandatory, or the willingness to obtain one if not currently licensed.</li><li>A minimum of three years of sales experience is required for this role.</li><li>Holding a valid driver's license and having a properly insured vehicle for client meetings is essential.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to unexpected interruptions is necessary.</li><li>Capable of sitting for extended periods of time.</li><li>Maintaining a professional appearance is expected in this client-facing position, including wearing appropriate business attire.</li><li>Willingness to travel to local client and carrier locations during the workday, with occasional out-of-town travel.</li></ul>About Company <ul><li>Work-Life Cohesion.
