Responsibilities:
<h3 class="">What You'll Do</h3><ul><li class="">Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed</li><li class="">Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales — ensuring compliance with all age verification and legal requirements</li><li class="">Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales</li><li class="">Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe, including:<ul><li class="">Deep cleaning high-use restrooms</li><li class="">Wiping down and sanitizing gas pumps (nozzles, screens, water buckets)</li><li class="">Picking up litter and trash from the floor and lot area</li><li class="">Taking out the trash to the dumpster in all kinds of weather</li></ul></li><li class="">Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh and full</li><li class="">Maintain a clean and organized store — sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways</li><li class="">Willingly cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed</li><li class="">Follow all safety procedures and company policies</li><li class="">Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed</li></ul><h3 class="">Perks & Benefits</h3><ul><li class="">Free soda or coffee while working </li><li class="">Weekly pay </li><li class="">Flexible schedules – full-time and part-time available</li><li class="">401(k) </li><li class="">Opportunities for advancement — we promote from within!</li><li class="">Pay Rate: $12.00/hr </li></ul> 

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older if located in CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO. For all other states, must be 21 years of age or older.</li><li>Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.</li><li>Willingness: Be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift.  Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions</li><li>Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.</li><li>Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.</li><li>Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.</li><li>Personable and Positive: You have a friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome.</li><li>Detail-Oriented: You notice the little things that make a big difference in a customer’s experience.</li><li>Reliable and Responsible: You’re punctual, trustworthy, and take pride in your work.</li><li>Flexible: You’re adaptable and ready to take on a variety of tasks in our fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience is a Plus: Previous experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required.
