This position requires maintaining a strong security presence, conducting routine patrols, and responding appropriately to incidents to ensure the safety of residents, visitors, and property. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced security professionals who can remain calm under pressure and effectively manage high-tension situations.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes:1) Verifying identification through identification cards, badges, and automated records; 2) Inspecting containers, personal property, documents on private, commercial and/or government vehicles; and 3) Exercising crowd control in situations that may become violent or unruly. For each relevant work experience, make sure you include the employers name, job title, start and end dates (include month and year), for qualifications purposes, the number of hours worked per week, and a brief description that show you can perform the tasks at the required level listed in the job announcement.
p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-6) in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Planning and implementing security/protective programs, prepare security related reports and writing/updating department policies and procedures; Supervise security personnel, prepare staff schedules, assign work to staff and resolving staff complaints; Serve as a principle advisor on security related matters, patrolling grounds/buildings, and enforcing security rules and regulations.
