The environment is highly collaborative and supports engineered-to-order products and production workflows.<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Purchasing & Supplier Management</h3><ul><li>Execute and manage purchase orders for production materials, fabricated parts, and industrial components</li><li>Monitor supplier lead times and delivery schedules to support manufacturing demands</li><li>Expedite critical orders and resolve delivery issues impacting production timelines</li><li>Maintain accurate procurement records, pricing, and supplier data within ERP systems</li></ul><h3>Cross-Functional Coordination</h3><ul><li>Partner closely with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical and production requirements</li><li>Support sourcing efforts tied to engineering changes, prototype builds, and new product introductions</li><li>Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain alignment on scheduling and material availability</li></ul><h3>Inventory & Production Support</h3><ul><li>Work alongside planning and inventory teams to support material availability and stock optimization</li><li>Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle count investigations, and supply continuity initiatives</li><li>Help identify opportunities for supplier performance improvements and lead-time reduction</li></ul><h3>Supplier Communication</h3><ul><li>Maintain strong supplier relationships and provide consistent follow-up on open orders and commitments</li><li>Support resolution of supplier quality or fulfillment concerns in partnership with internal stakeholders</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><h3>Required</h3><ul><li>2–5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment</li><li>Experience working within ERP systems for purchasing and supplier management</li><li>Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings/specifications</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li></ul><h3>Preferred</h3><ul><li>Experience supporting engineered-to-order or custom manufacturing environments</li><li>Familiarity with machined, fabricated, or industrial components</li><li>Exposure to intercompany purchasing or multi-site manufacturing operations</li><li>ERP experience such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar systems</li></ul>

We are looking to fill a full time Senior Buyer position with a manufacturer located in the general area of Monroe, WI. Salary Range:  $75k to $80k DOE.  Relocation assistance is available. Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Controller: sources, negotiates, buys, and expedites raw material, maintenance parts, shop supplies, capital improvements and all other non-essential supplies at the lowest possible cost consistent with accepted standards of quality and service within established time frames. Duties and Responsibilities: ·       Source and procure raw materials, shop supplies and maintenance parts necessary for production, considering price, quality and delivery. ·       Enter in all purchase orders into the Odyssey system. ·       Receive all incoming material into the Odyssey system. ·       Maintain Capital projects folders. ·       Work with the Quality department on new materials to be sampled, sample paperwork is on file in the purchasing department. ·       Maintain all IATF files pertaining to the purchasing department, supplier surveys, supplier certifications, on time deliveries. ·       Work with corporate purchasing on new suppliers and new part number entries. ·       Report to the corporate purchasing department on monthly cost savings. ·       Enter all month end inventories into the system for all departments, turn in a monthly scrap report to corporate, along with copies of invoices for surcharges on raw materials. ·       Maintain relationships with supply base. ·       Helps with 5S Auditing, monthly LPA audit and EHS observations/weekly audit. ·       Additional duties may be required. <div> </div>
