Act as one of the University's first responders equipped to assist in various emergency and nonemergency situations: React quickly and calmly to emergency situations by determining an appropriate course of action and ensuring an appropriate response utilizing tact, diplomacy and good judgment to resolve the issue. Fulfill collateral responsibilities including by not limited to: scheduling, report review, staff training, community training, records management, property and evidence management, equipment procurement, Clery reporting, staff selection, court document processing, committee participation, background investigations, special event planning and internal investigations.
