Experience and Skills · Must have a valid driver's license · Small team environment so candidate must be reliable, punctual, and present when scheduled · Minimum 1-3 years of applicable experience in a shipping, receiving, or logistics role; aerospace or high-value manufacturing environment preferred · Must have excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and be a quick learner · Needs good time management skills, is an independent thinker, and is able to meet deadlines or target dates and times · Works well independently or as part of a team; excellent written and verbal communication skills · Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficient in shipping software and carrier portals (FedEx, UPS, DHL) · Any previous experience with inventory management or ERP software is a plus · Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA Dangerous Goods) is a significant plus; training will be provided as needed · Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. · Verify all outgoing shipments are accompanied by complete and accurate documentation including FAA Form 8130-3, Packing Lists/Shipping Slips, Certificates of Conformance, and Hazmat paperwork; ensure documentation matches physical contents and shipping label.
