This position is responsible for the operation of the machines required to package charcoal briquets. Packaging technicians are able to operate one of the following pieces of equipment; Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, and/or Trunkline. </p><p>Position Requirements/Qualifications: </p><p>LOTO Certified within 14-days of position/hire </p><p><strong>Physical Requirements and Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Able to operate equipment at standard run rates </li><li>Able to identify critical elements on each machine </li><li>Able to perform basic corrective actions </li><li>Able to perform a change over w/ assistance </li><li>Maintain a clean work area </li><li>Identify quality issues </li><li>May involve repetitive movements </li><li>Lifting up to 60 lbs. </li><li>Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary </li><li>Due to the open environment of the packaging area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions </li></ul><p>Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
