You will support and guide installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers - You will develop detailed knowledge of the operation of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of these systems both on site and remotely - You will manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in fulfillment centers - You will collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, product managers, and internal customers including site maintenance and operations teams - You will travel to project sites and collaborate both virtually and in person to ensure all business stakeholders are aligned on program status - You will manage day to day project scheduling and budget management - You will work on continuous improvement activities to improve the projects in your space - You will generate and implement continuous improvement ideas around work-scopes - You will lead teams of other engineers on projects - You will travel to both live warehouses and new construction sites, the scopes may vary significantly in length and include heavy travel - You will manage the tactical deployment of large scale industrial automation technologies, ranging in technical complexity and product maturity from early alpha/beta to mature Generally Available. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 1+ year's experience with technical drawings and/or reading CAD models (mechanical and electrical) - 1+ year's Experience working on mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems - Understanding of data collection, reporting processes, and ability to make data-driven decisions - Ability to read technical drawings and/or reading CAD models to resolve on-site clash issues using 3D clash detection reports - Ability to troubleshoot robotics systems to resolve escalations including quality hand-off, live order testing, site acceptance testing, operational readiness testing, monitoring robotics system performance, etc.
