The Civilian Paramedic performs advanced life support (ALS) assessment, treatment, and transport of sick and injured patients in accordance with Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code, the Ocoee Fire Departments Medical Director Protocols, and department policies. Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) interventions including medication administration, intravenous and intraosseous access, cardiac monitoring, electrical therapies, advanced airway management, and other procedures authorized by the Medical Director.
