Major Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prompt and regular attendance at work.</li><li>Provide quality patient care utilizing thorough knowledge and appropriate administration of Critical Care Training, ACLS, and Critical Care Transport Standing Orders.</li><li>Assist in treating with appropriate techniques (resources and equipment) any medical situation while maintaining the highest standard of patient care according to current Company standards.</li><li>Complete run reports for each transport with appropriate patient care documentation and billing information.</li><li>Maintain CCP continued medical education requirements to maintain a higher level of training and education.</li><li>Maintain thorough knowledge of the ambulance, equipment, supplies, and medications.</li><li>Will provide our customers with professional and courteous communication and service.</li><li>Will actively market the CCP program to maintain a positive image and understanding of the CCP program.</li><li>Understand the procedure for vehicle checkout, reporting equipment failure, submitting expended supply reports on a daily basis.</li><li>Record all runs in CCP Log spreadsheet when indicated.</li><li>Attend CCP Staff meetings.</li><li>Perform stocking and cleaning of CCP vehicle and station.</li><li>In depth knowledge and understanding of CCP policies and procedures.</li><li>Complete other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Current Florida Paramedic certification (Information for out-of-state applicants or to renew <a href="http://www.floridahealth.gov/licensing-and-regulation/emt-paramedics/licensing/index.html" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer" target="_blank">click here</a>)</li><li>Current BLS & ACLS Certification</li><li>Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Florida driver license upon offer of employment.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li>A.S. Degree in Emergency Medical Technology</li><li>Two years working experience as a Paramedic.</li><li>National Registry</li><li>Critical patient inter-facility transfer experience</li><li>Critical Care certification</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>The Paramedic is required to sit, stand, walk, climb or balance, step, stoop, kneel; and talk or hear.
