This onsite role is ideal for an organized, service-oriented professional who enjoys supporting leadership, working with the public, and helping community programs run smoothly. About the Job: <ul><li>Serve as a key administrative support to the Executive Director, assisting with the daily operations of all recreation programs</li><li>Act as a welcoming first point of contact by greeting visitors, residents, instructors, board members, and staff; answering and directing incoming phone calls and emails</li><li>Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, data entry, calendar management, mailings, deliveries, and maintaining activity schedules</li><li>Support program coordination by preparing class supplies and paperwork, sending participant notifications, and assisting with program registrations (in person and by phone)</li><li>Maintain and update program registrations, ticket sales, and daily revenue records; assist with end-of-day verification and closing procedures</li><li>Handle discount ticket sales involving cash transactions; ensure accurate logging, reconciliation, and inventory tracking</li><li>Support instructors by assisting with onboarding paperwork, attendance tracking, and invoice submissions</li><li>Assist with marketing and communications efforts, including website updates, social media content, email marketing, and drafting press releases for newsletters and community publications</li><li>Help implement seasonal programs by supporting on-site logistics such as facility access, signage, instructor check-ins, and participant evaluations</li><li>Represent the organization at community events as needed and maintain strong working relationships with staff, volunteers, township partners, and community groups</li></ul> About You: <ul><li>2-3 years of administrative or accounting support experience required; experience in recreation, athletics, or public-sector environments preferred</li><li>High school diploma required; higher education preferred</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset</li><li>Detail-oriented and reliable</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with recreation software a plus</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and carrying as needed</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Valid Pennsylvania driver's license</li></ul> Schedule & Compensation: <ul><li>Onsite, Monday-Friday, 5 hours per day</li><li>Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support special events</li><li>Hourly rate: up to $20/hour</li></ul> This is a great opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys working in a community-centered environment and supporting meaningful programs. <div>Position Summary:   Penske Truck Leasing seeks highly motivated and qualified applicants to fill the unique position of Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver). This position is responsible for vehicle delivery and returning vehicles to Penske locations and Penske customers. Primarily, this position moves our box trucks up to 26’ and for CDL Class A will include tractors and trailer movement. Position may also provide assistance to the service department to deliver parts and equipment.   This is a casual/on-call part-time truck driving job that is perfect for licensed CDL Class B or CDL Class A drivers seeking supplemental income and looking to work anywhere from 0 to 25 hours a week based on business needs.   This position is located at the Penske facility at 1930 La Salle Avenue in Lancaster, PA.   Schedule: Part time - Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 6 AM   Major Responsibilities:   • Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of Penske location or customer locations   • Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to location manager if any issues are found   • Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required   • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles   • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor   Qualifications:   • 2 years of driving experience required   • 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required   • Valid Class B CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence   • CDL Class A license preferred   • Ability to read and follow written instructions is required.   • Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required   • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency   Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job   • As this position requires driving Penske and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.   • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.   This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
