Lawn & Vegetation Maintenance: Mowing, raking, watering, fertilizing lawns; caring for trees, shrubs, and other plants. Challenges: Physically demanding, weather exposure, potential for variable schedules (including weekends/holidays), and coordinating around events.

What you'll be doing:<ul><li>Plant & Flower Care: Watering, deadheading, weeding flower beds and containers. </li></ul><ul><li>Lawn & Vegetation Maintenance: Mowing, raking, watering, fertilizing lawns; caring for trees, shrubs, and other plants. </li></ul><ul><li>Pruning & Trimming: Trimming and pruning bushes and trees. </li></ul><ul><li>Weed Control: General weeding and applying herbicides/insecticides/fertilizers as needed. </li></ul><ul><li>Irrigation Support: Assisting with repairs, timers, pipes, pumps, and valves. </li></ul><ul><li>Other tasks: As assigned, including coordinating with other employees and event schedules. </li></ul>Equipment You'll Use <ul><li>Mowers (riding and push), aerators, verticutters, string trimmers, edgers, tillers, hand tools. </li></ul><ul><li>Vehicles: Trucks, ATVs, tractors, front-end loaders, forklifts. </li></ul><ul><li>Irrigation tools: Timers, pipe risers, pumps, valves. </li></ul>You'll need to get certified in ATV, forklift, and heavy equipment operation. What you'll need to do the job:      Required: <ul><li>Basic knowledge of yard care equipment. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to use hand tools (rakes, shovels, trimmers, etc.) for hours at a time. </li></ul><ul><li>Valid driver's license. </li></ul><ul><li>Comfort working outdoors in various mountain weather conditions for long periods. </li></ul><ul><li>Capable of lifting/carrying at least 50 lbs. </li></ul><ul><li>Availability to work some weekends/holidays </li></ul>      Preferred (but not required): <ul><li>Background in lawn/turf care. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with flowers, trees, or plants. </li></ul><ul><li>Irrigation system knowledge and repair. </li></ul><ul><li>Safety Focus: Wear proper PPE, follow safety protocols, use proper lifting techniques, and maintain equipment safely. </li></ul><ul><li>Physical Demands: Very physical — extended time outdoors, lifting 50+ lbs, repetitive tool use, bending, standing, etc. Mountain weather can include heat, cold, wind, or rain. </li></ul>Is This a Good Fit?       Yes, if you: <ul><li>Enjoy physical outdoor work and landscaping/gardening. </li></ul><ul><li>Like working in a scenic mountain environment with access to hiking/biking. </li></ul><ul><li>Can handle variable weather and long hours on your feet. </li></ul><ul><li>Are reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious. </li></ul><ul><li>Challenges: Physically demanding, weather exposure, potential for variable schedules (including weekends/holidays), and coordinating around events. </li></ul>
