At NorthBay Health, the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in accordance with his/her evaluation findings and the physician's referral, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of speech-language pathology. On physician's referral, evaluates patients, develops specific treatment plans and goals, administers procedures and modalities specific to the learning needs and age of the patient, and plans for discharge utilizing appropriate Speech-Language Pathology techniques.
