This position offers the opportunity to work on groundwater investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation projects while collaborating with experienced engineers, geologists, and scientists. The role is ideal for candidates seeking flexible hours and hands-on experience in hydrogeologic analysis and fieldwork.Responsibilities:Conduct hydrogeologic evaluations, including groundwater flow and contaminant transport analysisAssist with planning of field investigations (e.g., soil borings, monitoring well installation, aquifer testing)Interpret groundwater, soil, and surface water dataPrepare technical reports, figures, and data summaries for client deliverablesSupport environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II ESAs)Assist with groundwater modeling and data analysis using industry-standard softwareCoordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals and deadlinesEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulationsRequirements:20+ years of relevant experienceMaster’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science or other relevant degreeLicensed as a Professional GeologistExperience with groundwater modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, Visual MODFLOW, Groundwater Vistas) WRA is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and complies with all applicable anti-discrimination laws.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
