The Speech Language Pathologist is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorder management programs across Oakland Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation and Lake Park Healthcare Center. Physical requirements include the ability to assist with patient positioning during evaluations and treatment, performing oral mechanism examinations and swallowing assessments, prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and computer-based documentation.
